Normally the wave solder dross yield changes according the temperature of solder pot, the quantity of soldered PCB, the width of PCB, the in-time solder adding and the wave nozzle’s design. Every day it will generate 3 to 6kg of dross in 8 hours of machine running.

Here we take 4.5kg dross/8hours as average. ($US16/Kg used).

1 wave solder 8 hours running produces 　　4.5kg dross = 4.5kg x $US16 = $USD72
